About Voice of Taxi Drivers (VOTD)

Voice of Taxi Drivers (VOTD) is an independent organisation dedicated to representing and protecting the interests, rights, and livelihoods of taxi drivers across Ireland.

We believe every taxi driver deserves fairness, respect, transparency, and equal treatment within a properly regulated transport industry.

Our mission is to promote accountability, fair enforcement of taxi regulations, and greater transparency from the National Transport Authority (NTA) and taxi dispatch operators.

We support the protection of Ireland’s regulated, meter-based taxi fare system and advocate for clear, consistent rules that apply fairly to all drivers and operators.

VOTD provides a united platform where taxi drivers can raise concerns, share experiences, participate in peaceful campaigns, and work together to influence decisions affecting their profession.
